Loominate's mission is to bring transparency, humanity, rewards and a bit of fun into workplace community building. Our vision of the future of work is one that is anchored on the principles of decentralised value creation and exchange, empowerment of the individuals and innovation through collective intelligence.
Whenever we talk about our mission to others, we often get asked if we're building a HR tech solution. We're no HR experts and we actually don't know what constitutes HR these days. What we know is that a solution and business model that is built for top-down implementation will never fully unlock the potential of the individuals in any organisation.
So, we're a culture solution with the ability to put a value on positive community and culture building. Our suite of community tools can be used for any purpose that requires freedom of speech, candid ideation, voting, crowdsourcing of solutions or just a platform for serious, fun and trivial human conversations.
No, we're not. Loominate is first and foremost a safe space for the exchange of ideas, conversations and missions, both in the frivolous and serious realms. We enable individuals to have honest discussions, find support within the community and raise visibility to both problems and solutions. Users may find comfort in confiding problems with the community pseudonymously or anonymously, or create change and impact by responding to bounties and voting on policies and initiatives. We believe that the greatest change and impact takes place in the everyday, not just in the exceptional cases of crisis and tragedy where whistle-blowing is the necessary course of action. Our goal is to help create workplace cultures where no whistleblowing situation need arise.
We've scoured the internet for an equivalent of Loominate but only found a handful of HR and workplace impact platforms that still cater to the needs of corporate overlords and with business models that rely on management buy-ins. Our product and business model is designed to help Loominate stay independent of corporate buy-ins, distribute the power back to the community through our tokenomics and let users (not corporate owners/leaders) determine how our platform evolve.
But don't get us wrong, we're appreciative of any solutions that help alleviate workplace stress, harassment, disengagement, inequality and the fear of speaking up. The difference in our product strategy is that we want to help build the foundations of great culture and community rather than serve as a reactive solution to a problem that could've been prevented.

Loominate is built on the following three pillars of decentralisation:
Blockchain identity and Wallets allow Loominate to be private by default. The current MVP is traditionally encrypted but in the future iteration it'll be upgraded to a blockchain ID to keep personal details anonymous and ownable. Loominate custodial wallets will also be automagically created for verified users who signed up for an account on Loominate.app. Users will have complete control over what data and personal details they want to own and share during the course of their usage of the platform, as well as after.
Individual ownership & powers of self-governance are also core principles that guide the way the platform developed. Users who earned GOOD tokens through their participation on the platform are able to redistribute them to peers as rewards or use them to vote for policies and ideas raised by the community. This allows individuals to gain ownership of their role and impact in community building. Distributed decision making is made possible on Loominate because of this, and this changes the way community and culture is built in a corporate setting.

Developing a supply and demand of $GOOD tokens to power a fairer economy
GOOD is the native token of Loominate, a decentralised social network and community platform for employees.
GOOD serves as a rewards token that users can use to pay for digital goods, unlock premium perks and to vote on initiatives and policies on Loominate.app. This utility token will be tradable on decentralised exchanges and be exchangeable for Ethereum, USDC and fiat.
Capturing the Value of Community Building with GOOD tokens
Community building and positive social actions have monetary value and the way Loominate captures that value is through GOOD tokens. Employees working in big corporations today are rarely rewarded for being a positive pillar and contributor in the workplace community. They are not rewarded for solving problems outside their professional remits even though they are verbally credited for contributing 'intangibly' and 'unquantifiable' to the growth and wellbeing of the organisations. Users may sign up for a workplace chat space anytime and have access to most of the features on the platform with or without the company's subscription.
Organisations that wish to support their employees on Loominate without needing to buy, hold or own any crypto tokens, may subscribe to our Business for Good Subscription bundle. Each subscription bundle includes a mini bag of GOOD tokens that get airdropped into the respective organisation's community wallet by Loominate's team as part of premium Business for Good services.

A little bit of personal stories, history and the origins of the founding team.
CEO, Co-founder
A space engineer by training, Jamie spent over 14 years in Airbus developing a unique portfolio of experiences in Business Development, Customer & Corporate Innovation. From designing helicopter pilot training software programmes to leading transformation projects that impacted over 50,000 employees and contributing to $300m+ in revenue growth, Jamie's career in Airbus had given him an incredible growth platform but also an amazing front row view to the challenges of creating real change in a big corporate organisation.
He has seen how large organisations inevitably build walls between units that stifle collaborations and innovation. The bigger the organisations grow, the greater the layers of bureaucracy that in turn prevent free speech, personal empowerment and bottom-up change.
In 2020, he left his corporate career to embark on another spiritual journey to South Americas before returning to Singapore to found Loominate.app. There were a few startup iterations, false starts and challenges before Loominate, but he got there in the end.
Loominate is, in many ways, both the journey and destination that Jamie has been heading towards.

Taryn was the former COO & Chief of Staff in two independent advertising networks, responsible for digital strategy, corporate and culture restructuring. In the 7 years in the digital space, she has worn many hats, won awards and built various teams & offices across Southeast Asia. She has never been afraid to reinvent and rebuild her life, career and dreams from scratch. While many clung on to an accumulation of accolades and achievements, Taryn's drive is to pack different life experiences into one.
In 2020, she co-founded artwallstreet.io, originally an NFT platform for physical artworks, but exited later to rejoin advertising. She then started investing in cryptocurrency and became one of the original community builders for a social token that took flight in July 2021. During this time, she reconnected with Jamie on the rise of web3 and its potential on creating impact in workplace communities. Loominate was naturally borne out of this shared vision and passion.

The eras of industrialisation, 'management consultancies' and Web2 productivity-driven culture have made labour systems soullessly efficient, calculated and devoid of human touch.
But we see the emergence of Web3 capabilities as opportunities for us to self-organise into organic, human pods of support and connections that bring real human voice to the fore in decision making. Through a tokenised rewards system that's embedded into everyday interactions, value exchanges and the decision making, workplace communities may rebuild the foundations of their relationship with each other, create transparent, trust, community and loyalty, that in turn generate real value for their respective organisations.
Already we see new rules of engagement are being conceptualised and realised in DeFi, metaverse, NFT content creator's economy and DAOs. While we're still in the nascent and experimental age of Web3, the momentum is gaining as big tech and social media giants began scrambling for the least disruptive transition to the inevitability of Web3.
If we pause and look up from our rat race for a moment, we could already see that Loominate's vision of the future is already in the making. Decentralised social media platforms and online communities will be the next wave of transition that the mainstream population will be swept into.
